    How to use the Parametric Equalizer?

    1 . Upload your own audio file, or click 'Noise' to play a white noise test signal.
    2 . Double-click on the graph to add a new filter band.
    3 . Drag a band's circle node on the graph to adjust its frequency and volume level.
    4 . Scroll your mouse wheel over a node (or touch-pinch) to expand or narrow its Q factor bandwidth.
    5 . Choose a filter type (Bell, Shelf, Cut, or Notch) in its drop-down menu in the bands panel.

    What is a Parametric Equalizer?

    A parametric equalizer is a multi-band equalizer that allows users to adjust three parameters per frequency band: center frequency, bandwidth (Q factor), and boost/cut gain. It offers much greater flexibility than a graphic equalizer.

    What does the Q parameter do?

    The Q parameter controls the bandwidth of the filter. A low Q value creates a wide, gentle curve affecting surrounding frequencies, while a high Q value creates a narrow, sharp needle-like cut or boost.

    How do I add or delete frequency bands?

    Double-click anywhere on the graph grid to insert a new peaking band. To delete an active band, click the band node on the graph and press Delete or Backspace on your keyboard, or click the '✕' button next to its control row.
