    Frequently Asked Questions

What does chorus do, and what files can I load?

Chorus mixes your audio signal with delayed copies whose delay time is constantly moving. The copies drift slightly sharp and flat in pitch, creating a rich ensemble sound. You can load WAV, MP3, M4A, AAC, OGG, Opus, and FLAC files.

What is the difference between chorus and flanger?

Chorus uses delay times around 12 ms without feedback, sounding like separate doubled voices. A flanger uses shorter sub-10 ms delays with feedback to create jet-like sweeping comb filtering.

How many voices should I use?

1 voice gives subtle movement, 2 voices provides classic vocal/guitar chorus, and 3 voices produces a dense ensemble pad effect.

    What does Stereo Spread change?

Stereo Spread offsets the modulation phase between left and right channels, making voices sweep in opposite directions to widen the stereo soundstage.
